Bunker Tract, located behind the Tahoe City Golf Course consists mainly of permanent residents due to its proximity to Tahoe City and the elementary school. Most homes are in quiet, secluded settings and are close to churches and the community center with easy access to downtown.
Comstock Acres is another area with a high percentage of local residents popular because of the excellent winter access.
